Ramin Niami's first feature as a director was Somewhere in the City (1997) starring Sandra Bernhard, Robert John Burke, Bai Ling and Peter Stormare, which was screened at over 25 international film festivals. Niami was born in Teheran, Iran, and has worked as a director and producer in the U.S., UK and Europe on over twenty television documentaries, dramatic shorts and television commercials, many of them broadcast by the BBC and Channel Four in the UK and major US networks as well as PBS.
Niami also produced Amir Naderi's feature film Manhattan By Numbers, which was shot in New York and appeared in many film festivals such as Venice, Toronto and New Directors / New Films (New York). He directed and produced the award wining music video Follow Your Heart's Desire performed by Pure Fe. A New York resident for 14 years, Niami was a part-time faculty member for filmmaking at the School of Visual Arts in New York. He relocated to Los Angeles in 2002, where he taught directing and editing of digital video at USC's Robert Zemeckis Center for Digital Arts.
His new feature film Paris starring Bai Ling, Chad Allen, and James Russo, shot on Digital Video transferred to 35mm, was filmed in LA, Death Valley and Las Vegas and premiered in competition at the Tribecca Film Festival New York in 2003.

Karen Robson, brought up in Australia, played the role as a teenager of Irma in Peter Weir's Picnic at Hanging Rock. In 1985 Karen moved to New York to work as an entertainment lawyer and since 1991 has been a Partner in the Entertainment Department of Pryor, Cashman, Sherman & Flynn LLP, where she works primarily in the Film Finance and Production Group.
Recently she relocated to Los Angeles and opened the Los Angeles office for Pryor Cashman Sherman & Flynn. She represents a variety of independent producers, production companiesand film financiers and a number of well-known feature film writer/directors.
Ms. Robson also produced the feature films directed by, and produced with her husband Ramin Niami, Somewhere in the City and Paris . Films for which she has provided production ,distribution and / or financing include: The Crow: Wicked Prayer, James Cameron's Ghosts of The Abyss, All the Real Girls, Laurel Canyon, American Psycho, New Rose Hotel, Two Girls and a Guy, Basketball Diaries, Bad Lieutenant, The Crow. Blue Steel, Talk Radio.

Rahim Shafaghi is a real estate investor in the US with investments in California and Texas. His involvement in the film industry commenced with his role in distribution of Nora starring Ewan McGregor and as co-producer of Sideshow's "Paris". He is a financial advisor to Sideshow. |
